Preparations Depending on the microphone used, a humming/ buzzing noise may be recorded. Making a Wi-Fi Connection Two types of Wi-Fi connections are available. In "ad-hoc mode", you can make a peer-to-peer WiFi connection between a computer and camcorder. In "infrastructure mode", you can make Wi-Fi connections between a computer and multiple camcorders via a wireless LAN access point (building a LAN). To make a network setting Change settings under OTHERS >Network in the setup menu as required. The camcorder starts scanning for a network connection. When networks are detected, the NETWORK SCAN list appears. 5 Turn the up/down/left/right buttons or the jog dial to select a network and press the SEL/SET button or the jog dial. The OTHERS menu appears again. 6 Confirm that the settings for the Wi-Fi item conform to the network setting on the computer.
