Recording Defining Shot Mark names in Planning Metadata When you record shot mark 1 or shot mark 2, you can apply a name to the shot mark, using a string defined in planning metadata. Example of shot mark name strings Use a text editor to modify the description for the tag. The shaded fields in the example are shot mark name strings. Names can be either in ASCII format (up to 32 characters) or UTF-8 format (up to 16 characters). Here, "sp" indicates a space and 3 indicates a carriage return. Defining Shot Mark names in Planning
Metadata
When you record shot mark 1 or shot mark 2, you
can apply a name to the shot mark, using a string
defined in planning metadata.
Example of shot mark name strings
Use a text editor to modify the description for the
<Meta name> tag.
The shaded fields in the example are shot mark
name strings.
Names can be either in ASCII format (up to 32
characters) or UTF-8 format (up to 16 characters).
Here, “sp” indicates a space and

Note
If a name string contains even one non-ASCII character,
the maximum length of that string is limited to 16
characters.
