WORD PROCES 5. Move •the cursor to the end of the block to be copied. iks you move the cursor, the block is selected (reverse image). You may move the cursor back toward the beginning of the block to deselect. All key combinations used to move the text cursor can be used when selecting a block, (See "Moving the Text Cursor" on page 29.) 6. When the block is selected, press ME + m (CD to store the file in temporary memory. DO NOT press MI. NOTE: Press .1.1 at any step to cancel the function. Recalling the Temporary File CODE T TEMP The contents of the temporary file can be recalled and inserted into any file. 1. Position the cursor on the location where you want to insert the contents of the temporary file. 2. Press (CODE + (TEMP (CD). The following message appears: You can recall temporary file. To recall temporary file press RETURN. 3. Press RETURN . The text saved into the temporary file will now be inserted into the document at the cursor position. Deleting a Block CODE D STYLE 1 F SPELL PHRASE FORM SEARCH PAGE PRINT D r 1. Position the cursor on the first character of the block you want to delete. 2. Press (MENU) to display the menu. 3. Use (-) and n to select BLOCK, and press (RETURN) or all. • Accelerator: Instead of (3), type "B". 4. Use Ltj and (Ti to select DELETE and press RETURN • Accelerator: Instead of (4), type "D". • Short cut: Instead of (2), (3) and (4), press Move cursor to end of block to delete and press RETURN. 35
