To correct this problem, either reduce your resolution or the size of your scan area. 5. Adjust the dotted lines to fit around the portion of the image you want to print. 6. From the Copy section, select Photo. 7. Select a copy quantity if making multiple photocopies. 8. To further customize your photo, click See More Copy Settings. 9. When you are finished customizing your settings, click Copy Now. Scanning You can use your printer to scan using the printer operator panel or the printer software. Using the Operator Panel 1. Make sure your computer and printer are on, and the computer is connected to the computer. 2. Load your document on the scanner glass or into the ADF. Press + to scroll through the list of possible programs to which you can scan. 5. Press Select when the program to which you want to scan appears. 6. From the Start area on the operator panel, press Black to begin a black and white scan or Color to begin a color scan. Using the Printer Software

NOTE:
If the size of the scan (found in the lower right of the preview window) appears in red, you do
not have the system resources available to perform the scan at the resolution or size you have
selected. To correct this problem, either reduce your resolution or the size of your scan area.
Adjust the dotted lines to fit around the portion of the image you want to print.

From the Copy section, select
Photo
.

Select a copy quantity if making multiple photocopies.

To further customize your photo, click
See More Copy Settings
.

When you are finished customizing your settings, click
Copy Now

Scanning
You can use your printer to scan using the printer operator panel or the printer software.
Using the Operator Panel
Make sure your computer and printer are on, and the computer is connected to the computer.

From the Mode area on the operator panel, press
Scan
to put the printer in scan mode.

Press
