Press the latch on the SAS cable connector.
b.
Pull the SAS cable out of the connector.

If you are removing the expansion card permanently, install the filler bracket.

Steps
1.
Open the expansion-card latch and remove the filler bracket.
NOTE:

2.
Holding the card by its edges, align the connector on the card with the connector on the expansion card riser.
3.
