Holding the slots on the expansion card riser, lift the riser from the riser connector on the system board. 2. To remove expansion card riser 3, hold the edges of the expansion card riser. NOTE: To ensure proper system cooling, the riser blank must be installed in the appropriate riser slot. Remove the riser blank only if you are installing a riser. Steps
1.
Holding the slots on the expansion card riser, lift the riser from the riser connector on the system board.
2.
To remove expansion card riser 3, hold the edges of the expansion card riser.
