Software description Figure 2-3 Step 1 of 3: Start Search screen If you know the TCP/IP address of the printer, type the address in the Search for field and then click Next. To conduct a search for printers over a network, select the General search (searches for all HP printers on your network) option. Click Advanced Search Properties to open a screen that you can use to select the number of "hops" that the system makes. The Advanced Search Settings screen appears. Click Cancel on this and on any other screen where it appears to return to the main HP Easy Printer Care screen.
