8: Device Ports The administrator and users with local user rights may assign individual port permissions to local users. The administrator and users with remote authentication rights assign port access to users authenticated by NIS, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos and TACACS+. Device Status The Devices > Device Status page displays the status of the SLB's ports, USB port and power outlets. 1. Click the Devices tab and select the Device Status option. The following page displays: Figure 8-1 Devices > Device Status Global Port Settings On the Devices > Device Ports page, you can set up the numbering of Telnet, SSH, and TCP ports, view a summary of current port modes, establish the maximum number of direct connections for each device port, and select individual ports to configure. 1.
