Frequently asked questions Problem F94 Possible cause and solution No water intake: - the water intake hose is trapped or kinked.  Rectify the cause of the problem and start the ap- pliance again. - the water supply has been turned off.  Open the water intake valve and start the appli- ance again. - one or both float switches in the water container are stuck. F190 F196 170  Release the float switches or switch so that it moves freely.  If this fault message appears again after the problem(s) have been corrected, contact Miele Service. The water intake valve is faulty. This can occur if the control panel was opened or closed during water intake.  Confirm with OK and continue operation.  If the same message appears again, contact Miele Service. There is a fault.  Turn the steam oven off and then back on again. The drain filter is not inserted correctly.  Turn the steam oven off.  Insert the filter correctly:  Turn the steam oven back on again.  If the same message appears again, contact Miele Customer Service.
