Heating up the steam oven  Take all accessories out of the oven compartment if applicable.  To remove the grease from the ring heater element, heat the steam oven up to 395°F (200°C) using the Convection Bake  operating mode for 30 minutes. Proceed as described in "Operation".  Danger of injury caused by hot surfaces. The steam oven gets hot during operation. You could burn yourself on the heater elements, oven compartment, or side racks. Use pot holders when working in the hot oven compartment. The heater element will give off a slight smell when it is heated for the first time. The smell and any vapors given off will dissipate after a while and do not indicate a faulty connection or appliance. It is important to ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated during this operation. Before first use 41
