Your Nokia N72 Keep all memory cards out of the reach of small children. Press , and select Tools > Memory. You can use a compatible memory card as extra storage space. It is also good to regularly back up the information in the device memory to a memory card. The information can be restored to the device later. You cannot use the memory card if the door of the memory card slot is open. Important: Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when the card is being accessed. Removing the card in the middle of an operation may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted. To back up information from device memory to a compatible memory card, select Options > Backup phone mem. To restore information from a compatible memory card to the device memory, select Options > Restore from card. Tip! To rename a memory card, select Options > Memory card name. Some memory cards are supplied preformatted and others require formatting. Consult your retailer to find out if you must format the memory card before you can use it. To format a memory card, select Options > Format mem. card. Select Yes to confirm. When formatting is complete, enter a name for the memory card, and select OK.
