HONEY GLAZED CARROTS (Serves 4) INGREDIENTS 450g/11b young carrots, scrubbed 25g/loz butter 15m1s/ltbIsp clear honey COOKWARE Microwaveproof dish with lid. Place on turntable. METHOD 1. If carrots are small leave whole, cut larger carrots into halves. 2. Place carrots into a covered dish with 3 tblsps of water, cook on microwave 900W for 7-9 minutes until cooked. Stir once or twice. Drain. 3. Melt the butter and honey on microwave 900W for 30-40 seconds and mix well together. Pour over the carrots. Toss the carrots in the glaze and serve immediately. CAULIFLOWER CHEESE (Serves 4) INGREDIENTS 1 medium cauliflower, trimmed of all green leaves, weighing about 450g/1Ib 60m1s/4 tblsps water 300mIs/ 1/2 pint cheese sauce (see page 14) salt and pepper 25g/loz grated cheese 25g/loz toasted breadcrumbs chopped parsley to garnish COOKWARE Heatproof serving dish. Place on low metal rack on turntable. METHOD 1. Place the water and cauliflower, floret side down in a casserole dish. Microwave, covered on 900W for 6-8 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking time. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. 2. Drain and season to taste. 3. Place in heatproof serving dish, pour over the cheese sauce and sprinkle with the grated cheese and breadcrumbs. 4. Place the dish on the low rack and Dual Cook-Thermal Grill with Convection 210°C for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted. 52

METHOD
1.

carrots
