Unlocking All Frequencies, Reviewing Locked Out Frequencies

To toggle Intermediate Frequency Exchange on or off Hold and press Func then 4(ifx). Press Hold to resume. To toggle the attenuator on or off pressFunc then 7(att). (Press and hold 7(att) for global attenuation). Notes: The search time changes depending on the search step size. The step defaults to the default band step for the channel. 'Att' will not show in the display when on unless in Function mode. If you manually set the mode to NFM or FM, the scanner will not reliably detect signals that are modulated in either FMB or WFM. Close Call, Priority ScCloasean, Weather Scan and GPS functions do not work in Band Scope Mode. SEARCH/CLOSE CALL OPTIONS MENU These are the settings you should look at before you perform a quick search, close call search, search and store, or close call auto store. To Edit Search and Close Options, press Menu. 1. Scroll to 'Srch/CloCall Opt' and press E/yes. 2. Scroll to the options below and press E/yes. 3. Press Scan/Srch to return to scanning when done with editing. Note: You can also do this in search mode by pressing Func then pressing and holding L/O. Unlocking All Frequencies: 1. Scroll to 'Freq Lockouts' press Menu. 2. At 'Unlock All' press E/yes. 3. At 'Confirm?' press E/yes to save and exit. 4. Press Menu to return. Reviewing Locked Out Frequencies: A 'T' appears to the right of a frequency if it is temporarily locked out. 1. Scroll to 'Rvw Search L/O' and press E/yes. If no frequencies are locked out, you see 'Nothing Locked'. 90
