Chapter 3 Hardware Overview You may need to clean the fiber-optic cable's connectors with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. • Type: Fiber-optic • Wavelength: 1310 +/- 50 nm • Multi-mode • Dual LC connectors • Connection distance: Up to 2km 3.2 Rear Panel The following figure shows the rear panel of the Switch. The power receptacle is on the rear panel. Figure 18 Rear Panel (AC Model) Figure 19 Rear Panel (DC Model) 3.2.1 Power Connections Make sure you are using the correct power source as shown on the Switch's panel. To connect the power to the AC powered version of the Switch, insert the female end of power cord to the power receptacle on the rear panel. Connect the other end of the supplied power cord to the power source. To connect the power to the DC powered version of the Switch, insert the female end of power adaptor's cord into the power receptacle on the rear panel.
