1.4.5 Heater Drive Circuit The heater drive circuit is used to drive the heater which heats up the platens (pre-platen and platen), the head and the OHS tank. The engine CPU turns ON or OFF the heater through the Jet ASIC3. When the control signal output from the Shift Register is low, the heater is turned ON and heats the corresponding platen.
