setntp DESCRIPTION The setntp command sets the system Network Time Protocol (NTP) server. This command is deprecated and will be removed in a subsequent release. AUTHORITY • Super, Service • Any role granted the ntp_set right. NOTE: You need access to all domains in order to run this command. SYNTAX setntp |none OPTIONS None. SPECIFIERS Specifies the IP address of the NTP server to which the HP 3PAR storage system synchronizes its internal clocks. none Specifies that the HP 3PAR storage system should not synchronize its internal clocks with an external NTP server. Instead, the system synchronizes its clocks internally. RESTRICTIONS Access to all domains is required to run this command. EXAMPLES The following example displays the setting of the system NTP server: cli% setntp 192.168.1.1 NTP server successfully updated. NOTES None. 308 Set Commands
