The following example displays the prompts encountered when changing a user's (user1) password: cli% setpassword -u user1 password: Old password: NOTES • The format of the entry in the file is . This file may be referenced by the TPDPWFILE environment variable or -pwf command line option for subsequent commands. • The -save or -saveonly option requires the -file option. • Without any options, the command will prompt to change the invoking user's password on the system. • Changing a user's password has no effect on SSH access if the user has set a valid key with the setsshkey command.
