DC Controller Board and Power Supply This assembly contains two PCAs. One houses the DC Controller and the High-Voltage Power Supply, and the other contains the LowVoltage Power Supply. 1 Remove the Top Cover (page 6-12), Left and Right Side Covers (page 6-23), and the Formatter Assembly (page 6-40). 2 Disconnect four cables on the right side of the chassis. (The fourth may have been disconnected during fan removal (page 6-39) already.) For the two large connectors, use a flatblade screwdriver to release the locks by pressing down on the tabs on top of the connectors. Be sure to pull the cables away from the chassis. 3 The remaining connections are located on the left side of the chassis. Disconnect the ribbon cable, the 2-pin, the 3-pin, and the two 20-pin connectors. Be sure to pull the cables away from the chassis. 4 Remove five screws on the back side of the chassis (Figure 6-37). Two machine screws (A) are located on the top surface of the metal housing, one machine screw (C) has a lock washer and a ground wire, and two self-tapping screws (B) are located at the bottom of the DC Controller Assembly. 6-46 Removing and Replacing Parts EN
