Service Approach Repair of the printer normally begins with use of the printer's internal diagnostics in conjunction with the troubleshooting procedures in Chapter 7. Once a faulty part is located, repair is generally accomplished by assembly level replacement of Field Replaceable Units (FRUs). Some mechanical assemblies may be repaired at the subassembly level. PCA component replacement is not supported by Hewlett-Packard. 2-2 Service Approach EN

Service Approach
Repair of the printer normally begins with use of the printer’s internal
diagnostics in conjunction with the troubleshooting procedures in
Chapter 7. Once a faulty part is located, repair is generally
accomplished by assembly level replacement of Field Replaceable
Units (FRUs). Some mechanical assemblies may be repaired at the
subassembly level. PCA component replacement is not supported by
Hewlett-Packard.
