Check the following parts for damaged, loose, or missing parts. • Pick arm lift bellcrank • Bellcrank lift spring • Tray interlock bellcrank Are any of the parts broken, loose, or missing? Verify the autocompensator is not stuck in the up position (tires or hub caught on the deflector gate) Yes Replace tray 1. No Go to step 2 Repair or replace parts as necessary. Go to step 3 Dislodge the autocompensator assembly. Replace the autocompensator pick assembly. See "Autocompensa tor pick assembly removal" on page 4-27. Open the lower jam access door, carefully lift the autocompensator assembly until it is in its uppermost position, and carefully try to remove tray 1.
