Using Other Functions System off The SYSTEM OFF feature allows you to tell the receiver and your other components to stop and/or turn off with the push of only one button on the LCD commander (this feature will only work with components that have a standby mode). For example, you can program the unit to stop your DVD, turn off your TV, turn off your DVD player and turn off the receiver itself. You don't need to program in other the power for PIONEER components, they will go off automatically in this mode. The receiver itself will go off automatically as well. Of course it's logical to start with 1 so press command 1 button (the box the 1 with inside it). This tells the receiver this will be the first command. The number will become shaded. 5 Select the FUNCTION button of the component which you want to stop or turn off (for example, your DVD player) and press the function button for it. The screen for that component will appear in the LCD display. System off
