Installing Options ❒ If the wireless signal is weak and printing is affected by it, attach an external antenna. ❒ After finishing installation, check the IEEE 802.11b interface unit is installed properly: Print the configuration page from the "List/Test Print" menu. If it is installed properly, you will see "IEEE 802.11b" for "Device Connection". ❒ If the IEEE 802.11b interface unit is not installed properly, reinstall it from the start of the procedure. If you cannot install it properly even after attempting reinstallation, contact your sales or service representative. ❒ You need to make settings with the control panel before using the gigabit ethernet board. For details, see p.128 "IEEE 802.11b (Wireless LAN) Configuration". For details about printing the configuration page, see p.46 "Test Printing". 90
