Airplane Mode Airplane mode allows you to use many of your phone's features, such as Camera, Games, and more, when you are in an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. Important! When your phone is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access online information or applications. 1. From the Home screen, touch Settings . Under the system menu, touch airplane mode. 2. Touch and slide the slider to the right to turn the airplane mode On. Note: When you turn on airplane mode, cellular data mode is automatically deactivated. Cellular Enabling this feature allows you to use data features even when you are roaming. Important! Roaming charges may apply when using data features. Contact your Service provider for details. Note: Available options may differ depending upon your service provider. 1. From the Home screen, touch Settings . Under the system menu, touch cellular. The Active network is displayed. 2. Touch the Data connection field and select on or off. Note: Activating the Data connection automatically turns off airplane mode. 3. Touch the Data roaming options field and select roam or don't roam. 4. Touch the Mode selection field and select Global mode, LTE and CDMA, or LTE, GSM, or UMTS. Changing Your Settings 95
