The default configuration file sets values for system parameters such as the ARP aging timer, the system log, and file messages, while also enabling the LLDP protocol, the RSTP protocol, IGMP snooping, and storm control. When you commit changes to the configuration, a new configuration file is created that becomes the active configuration. You can always revert to the factory default configuration. For instructions for reverting to the factory configuration, see the Dell PowerConnect J-Series Ethernet Switch Complete Software Guide for Junos OS at http://www.support.dell.com/manuals. J-EX8200 Switch Default Configuration
Each J-EX8200 switch is programmed with a factory default configuration that contains
the values set for each configuration parameter when a switch is shipped. The default
configuration file sets values for system parameters such as the ARP aging timer, the
system log, and file messages, while also enabling the LLDP protocol, the RSTP protocol,
IGMP snooping, and storm control.
When you commit changes to the configuration, a new configuration file is created that
becomes the active configuration. You can always revert to the factory default
configuration. For instructions for reverting to the factory configuration, see the

PowerConnect J-Series Ethernet Switch Complete Software Guide for Junos OS
