Similarly, you may want to decrease it if you want to darken the picture, or if you're taking pictures against a dark background. With the PhotoPC 850Z, you can select automatic exposure settings, or you can fine-tune the exposure manually by setting the shutter speed and aperture setting. 3 Press the + button (next to the up arrow) to increase the exposure setting, or the − button (next to the down arrow) to decrease it. Changing the Automatic Exposure Value Follow these steps to select predefined exposure settings: 1 Make sure that the camera is set to Program or Manual user mode.
