Chapter 2 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP Cisco IOS Commands dot1x max-req dot1x max-req Use the dot1x max-req interface configuration command to set the maximum number of times that the switch sends an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) frame from the authentication server (assuming that no response is received) to the client before restarting the authentication process. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting. dot1x max-req count no dot1x max-req Syntax Description count Number of times that the switch resends an EAP frame from the authentication server before restarting the authentication process.
