Chapter 2 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP Cisco IOS Commands ip igmp snooping vlan immediate-leave ip igmp snooping vlan immediate-leave Use the ip igmp snooping immediate-leave global configuration command to enable Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping immediate-leave processing on a per-VLAN basis. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting. ip igmp snooping vlan vlan-id immediate-leave no ip igmp snooping vlan vlan-id immediate-leave Syntax Description vlan-id Enable IGMP snooping and the Immediate-Leave feature on the specified VLAN. The range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094. Defaults IGMP immediate-leave processing is disabled. Command Modes Global configuration Command History Release 12.2(25)SEF Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines VLAN IDs 1002 to 1005 are reserved for Token Ring and FDDI VLANs and cannot be used in IGMP snooping. You should configure the Immediate- Leave feature only when there is a maximum of one receiver on every port in the VLAN. The configuration is saved in NVRAM. The Immediate-Leave feature is supported only with IGMP Version 2 hosts. Examples This example shows how to enable IGMP immediate-leave processing on VLAN 1: Switch(config)# ip igmp snooping vlan 1 immediate-leave You can verify your settings by entering the show ip igmp snooping privileged EXEC command.
