exception crashinfo Chapter 2 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP Cisco IOS Commands exception crashinfo Use the exception crashinfo global configuration command to configure the switch to create the extended crashinfo file when the Cisco IOS image fails. Use the no form of this command to disable this feature. exception crashinfo no exception crashinfo Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords. Usage Guidelines The basic crashinfo file includes the Cisco IOS image name and version that failed and a list of the processor registers. The extended crashinfo file includes additional information that can help determine the cause of the switch failure. Use the no exception crashinfo global configuration command to configure the switch to not create the extended crashinfo file. Examples This example shows how to configure the switch to not create the extended crashinfo file: Switch(config)# no exception crashinfo You can verify your settings by entering the show running-config privileged EXEC command.
