archive download-sw Chapter 2 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP Cisco IOS Commands archive download-sw Use the archive download-sw privileged EXEC command to download a new image from a TFTP server to the switch and to overwrite or keep the existing image. archive download-sw {/force-reload | /imageonly | /leave-old-sw | /no-set-boot | /overwrite | /reload | /safe} source-url Syntax Description /force-reload /imageonly /leave-old-sw /no-set-boot /overwrite /reload /safe source-url Unconditionally force a system reload after successfully downloading the software image. Download only the software image but not the HTML files associated with the embedded device manager. The HTML files for the existing version are deleted only if the existing version is being overwritten or removed. Keep the old software version after a successful download. Do not alter the setting of the BOOT environment variable to point to the new software image after it is successfully downloaded. Overwrite the software image in flash memory with the downloaded one. Reload the system after successfully downloading the image unless the configuration has been changed and not been saved. Keep the current software image; do not delete it to make room for the new software image before the new image is downloaded. The current image is deleted after the download.
