archive upload-sw Chapter 2 Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP Cisco IOS Commands archive upload-sw Use the archive upload-sw privileged EXEC command to upload an existing switch image to a server. archive upload-sw [/version version_string] destination-url Syntax Description /version version_string destination-url (Optional) Specify the specific version string of the image to be uploaded. The destination URL alias for a local or network file system. These options are supported: • The syntax for the local flash file system: flash: • The syntax for the FTP: ftp:[[//username[:password]@location]/directory]/image-name.tar • The syntax for an HTTP server: http://[[username:password]@]{hostname | host-ip}[/directory]/image-name.tar • The syntax for a secure HTTP server: https://[[username:password]@]{hostname | host-ip}[/directory]/image-name.tar • The syntax for the Remote Copy Protocol (RCP): rcp:[[//username@location]/directory]/image-name.tar • The syntax for the TFTP: tftp:[[//location]/directory]/image-name.tar The image-name.tar is the name of software image to be stored on the server.
