Note: You must remove the c-Class blade cable management bracket to remove or replace a 4x DDR IB switch module installed in the back of a c-Class BladeSystem enclosure. To remove the bracket, reverse the installation procedure described in the c-Class Blade Cable Management Bracket Installation Guide. 5.1.1 Subnet Manager A subnet manager is required to establish the InfiniBand fabric and provide InfiniBand fabric services. The subnet manager can be running on the rack-mount InfiniBand switches connected to the uplinks of the 4x DDR IB switch modules or on the server blades.
