SAL/EFI messages The following is an example of a typical SAL/EFI message: Log Entry #: 2 Logging Source: SAL/EFI Log Type: E, I, or W Date: 06/17/2003 Time: 6:17:3 Recoverable Error handling example message This message indicates that a SAL/EFI error occurred at the recorded time. The following table lists all of the error codes and the actions to take in the event of an error code. Sometimes the first error to occur causes additional errors. In this case, the server displays more than one error message. Always follow the suggested action instructions for the first error message that appears. In the following error codes, X can be any number or letter. Error message/symptom B113 (CMOS read/write failure) B114 (SAL/EFI ROM checksum or Boot error.)
