4. Insert the BIOS Recovery floppy diskette into the disk drive. 5. Replace the AC power cord and turn on the system power. The system will beep once as the recovery process starts and the system passes control to DOS. DOS executes a special AUTOEXEC.BAT file that contains iFLASH on the first line. If iFLASH determines that the system is in recovery mode, as indicated by the jumper location, iFLASH will start the recovery. No user intervention is needed. The BIOS recovery will take between two and four minutes. The screen will remain blank while the recovery is performed. At the end of the BIOS Recovery, two high-pitched beeps will sound and the floppy drive access light will turn off. The BIOS Recovery may take several minutes to complete.
