The management VLAN is used for management of the switch. It can be configured to any value in the range of 1-4093. 6. Select the Routing Mode radio button to Enable or Disable the global routing on the device. The default value is Enable. 7. Select the Configuration Method DHCP or Manual radio button: • DHCP. Transmit a DHCP request. • Manual. Do nothing. This specifies what the switch does on start-up. 8. Specify the IP Address of the interface. The factory default value is 169.254.100.100. 9. Specify the IP Subnet Mask for the interface. This is also referred to as the subnet/network mask and defines the portion of the interface's IP address that is used to identify the attached network. The factory default value is 255.255.0.0. 10. Specify the Gateway for the management VLAN interface. The factory default value is 0.0.0.0. 11. In the Reset IPv4 Management Interface section of the page, use the Set Management Interface to Default option to set the IPv4 management interface to the default VLAN 1. 12. Click the Apply button.
