Setup and Connections Connecting Other Devices Connecting Other Devices External devices featuring an A/V output terminal - such as a VCR, AV amplifier, DVR, DVD player/ recorder, or digital cable - can be connected to the base station. You can also connect a digital video camera or similar device directly to the AV IN jack on the monitor to watch video (LF-X1 only). Note If you have connected a DVD player to the base station via a VCR, the VCR's copy guard function may distort or dim the DVD picture. Connecting Other Devices
Setup and Connections
External devices featuring an A/V output terminal - such as a VCR, AV amplifier, DVR, DVD player/
recorder, or digital cable - can be connected to the base station. You can also connect a digital video
camera or similar device directly to the AV IN jack on the monitor to watch video (LF-X1 only).
Refer also to the operating instructions that came with the connected equipment.
Select [Video 1] in the [Index] window. You can
operate the connected device using the on-screen
remote control on the monitor. Open the [Index]
window, select [Video 1], [Video 2], or [Monitor
Video In] (LF-X1 only) according to the input
terminal to which the device is connected.
Note
If you have connected a DVD player to the base station
via a VCR, the VCR’s copy guard function may distort
or dim the DVD picture. Connect the DVD player
directly to the video input terminal on the base station.
