Setup and Connections Wireless Connection at Home ADVANCE: Selecting a Connection Type for the Monitor This section describes the settings you need to configure in order to use the monitor at a location away from home, such as a public wireless access like a hotel or cafe. You can set the monitor to connect directly with the base station in your home, to connect to the base station while away from home, and to communicate wirelessly or via wired LAN. "Home mode" describes the monitor when connected with the base station while inside your home. Using the monitor away from home is called "On the go mode". In each of these modes, the monitor can communicate wirelessly or via wired LAN. z Tip The on-screen icons change as follows depending on the current settings and connection status. ADVANCE: Selecting a Connection Type for the
Monitor
This section describes the settings you need to
configure in order to use the monitor at a location
away from home, such as a public wireless access
like a hotel or cafe.
You can set the monitor to connect directly with
the base station in your home, to connect to the
base station while away from home, and to
communicate wirelessly or via wired LAN.
“Home mode” describes the monitor when
connected with the base station while inside your
home. Using the monitor away from home is
called “On the go mode”. In each of these modes,
the monitor can communicate wirelessly or via
wired LAN.

Tip
The on-screen icons change as follows depending on
the current settings and connection status.
