Viewing Web Pages: Basics This section explains how to display the Web window and open web pages. As an example, let us try accessing the Sony web site (http:// www.sony.com). z Tip For details on character entry, see "Entering Characters" (1 page 116). 1 Open the [Index] window and select [Web]. The Web window appears. 3 Using the on-screen keyboard, enter http://www.sony.com/, then select [Close]. The keyboard disappears and the unit starts downloading the Sony web site. While downloading, the Internet icon at the top left of the screen moves. When downloading is finished, the Sony web site opens and the Internet icon stops moving. With the LF-X5, select [Exit] after inputting the web page address. Note Your contract with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) may prohibit you from accessing the Internet from more than one device at a time. Open the [Index] window and select [Web].
The Web window appears.

Select the address field.
The on-screen keyboard appears.

Using the on-screen keyboard, enter
http://www.sony.com/, then select [Close].
The keyboard disappears and the unit starts
downloading the Sony web site. While
downloading, the Internet icon at the top left
of the screen moves. When downloading is
finished, the Sony web site opens and the
Internet icon stops moving.
With the LF-X5, select [Exit] after inputting
the web page address.
Note
Your contract with an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
may prohibit you from accessing the Internet from
