Enter the DHCP server IP address. DHCP Server List Select: Interface ID: Select the desire DHCP server item. Displays the interface ID. Server Address: Displays the DHCP server address. Configuration Procedure: Step Operation Description 1 Enable DHCP Relay. Required. On the Routing→DHCP Server→Global Config page, enable the DHCP Server function, and the DHCP Relay function will be enabled at the same time. 2 Configure Option 82 Optional. On the Routing→DHCP Relay→Global Config support. page, configure the Option 82 parameters. 3 Configure DHCP Server. Required. On the Routing→DHCP Relay→DHCP Server page, specify the DHCP Server with IP address. 10.6 Proxy ARP Proxy ARP functions to realize the Layer 3 connectivity between the hosts within the same network segment but isolated at Layer 2. When an ARP request of a host is to be forwarded to another host in the same network segment but isolated at Layer 2, to realize the connectivity, the device connecting the two virtual networks should be able to respond to this request. This can be achieved by the device running proxy ARP. 154
