Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-31 Memory Board The memory board is removed for replacement, to access the system board, or to facilitate DIMM installations. To remove the memory board: 1. Perform the preparation procedures. See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the top access panel. See "Top Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. 3. Push both sides of the release locks in toward the center if the memory board to free the ejector levers. 4. Pull up the ejector levers on the sides of the memory board. 5. Memory Board
The memory board is removed for replacement, to access the system board, or to facilitate
DIMM installations.
To remove the memory board:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See
“

earlier in this chapter.
2. Remove the top access panel. See

earlier in this chapter.
3. Push both sides of the release locks
in toward the center if the memory board to free the
ejector levers.
4. Pull up the ejector levers
on the sides of the memory board.
5. Lift the memory board
from the chassis.
