See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the center wall. See "Center Wall" earlier in this chapter. 3. Disconnect the SCSI and power cables from the SCSI hard drive backplane board. 4. Remove the thumbscrew securing the SCSI hard drive backplane board to the hard drive cage. 5. SCSI Hard Drive Backplane Board
To remove the SCSI hard drive backplane board:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See

earlier in this chapter.
2. Remove the center wall. See

3. Disconnect the SCSI and power cables
from the SCSI hard drive backplane board.
4. Remove the thumbscrew
securing the SCSI hard drive backplane board to the hard
drive cage.
5. Pull the SCSI hard drive backplane board
up, then away
from the drive cage area of
the chassis.
