Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-35 Wide Ultra2/Ultra3 Hard Drive Cage NOTE: The ProLiant DL580 supports Wide Ultra3 SCSI technology. To remove the Wide Ultra2/Ultra3 hard drive cage: 1. Perform the preparation procedures. See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the three T-15 screws located on the front bezel that secure the drive cage to the front of the chassis. 3. Remove the center wall. See "Center Wall" earlier in this chapter. 4. Pull the drive cage toward the rear of the server to clear the two lower tabs, then lift the drive cage up and away from the chassis. 2 1 1 1 Figure 2-27. Wide Ultra2/Ultra3 Hard Drive Cage
NOTE:
The ProLiant DL580 supports Wide Ultra3 SCSI technology.
To remove the Wide Ultra2/Ultra3 hard drive cage:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See

2. Remove the three T-15 screws
located on the front bezel that secure the drive cage to
the front of the chassis.
