Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-41 PCI Hot Plug Basket Insulator WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the internal system components to cool before touching them. To remove the PCI Hot Plug basket insulator: 1. Perform the preparation procedures. See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the top access panel. See "Top Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. 3. Remove all PCI boards. See "PCI Expansion Boards" earlier in this chapter. 4. Pull up the two pushpins securing the PCI Hot Plug basket insulator to the chassis. 5. Push down on the rear on the basket, then pull the basket toward the front of the unit to release the two rear clips that secure the back of the basket to the chassis. 6. PCI Hot Plug Basket Insulator
WARNING:

To remove the PCI Hot Plug basket insulator:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See

2. Remove the top access panel. See

3. Remove all PCI boards. See

4. Pull up the two pushpins

securing the PCI Hot Plug basket insulator to the chassis.
5. Push down on the rear on the basket, then pull the basket
toward the front of the unit to
release the two rear clips that secure the back of the basket to the chassis.
6. Lift out the PCI Hot Plug basket insulator
