ports of VE_Port type include the following:
util - Port utilization
pktLoss - Packet loss
ST - State change
-timebase
Configures the threshold value to be measured in one of the following time
increments: day, hour, minute, or second.
-highth
Configures the high threshold on the specified VE_Port and area type. Refer
to
Appendix B, “Default Settings”
for the default settings for high and low
thresholds and buffers for each class and area. Refer to
Appendix C,
“portThConfig examples”
for port threshold configuration examples for each
class and area.
-lowth
Configures the low threshold on the specified VE_Port and area type. Refer to
Appendix B, “Default Settings”
for the default settings for high and low
thresholds and buffers for each class and area. Refer to
Appendix C,
“portThConfig examples”
for port threshold configuration examples for each
class and area.
-value
Specifies the high or low threshold value.
-trigger
Configures the trigger on the specified port and area type to be above or
below the specified threshold settings. Refer to
Appendix C, “portThConfig
examples”
for sample threshold combinations, including triggers.
-buffer
Configures the buffer setting on the specified port and area type. Refer to
Appendix B, “Default Settings”
for the default settings for high and low
thresholds and buffers for each class and area.
-action
Specifies the method by which you are notified if the system detects an
exceeded threshold limit. Possible values include snmp, raslog, email, or
none.
--nosave
Prevents the configuration changes from being saved persistently. This option
allows you to make and view changes without overwriting the saved
configuration. When you use
--set
with the
--nosave
option and the switch
reboots, your changes will be lost.
