117 Mobile Computing Monitoring main battery power Toshiba's power-saving options greatly increase the length of time you can use the computer before having to recharge the main battery. Toshiba has combined these options into several preset power usage modes. Setting a power usage mode 1 Click Start, Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears. 2 Click Performance and Maintenance. 3 Click the TOSHIBA Power Saver icon. The TOSHIBA Power Saver Properties window appears.
