Viewing the Log File Table The Log File Table contains information about log entries saved to the Log File in FLASH, including the time the log was entered, the log severity, and a description of the log message. To open the Log File Table, click System → Logs → Log File in the tree view. Figure 6-21. Log File Table The Log File Table contains the following fields: • Log Index - The log number in the Log File Table. • Log Time - Indicates the time at which the log was entered in the Log File Table. • Severity - Indicates the log severity. • Description - The log message text. Displaying the Log File Table Using the CLI Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for viewing and setting fields displayed in the Log File Table. Table 6-16. Log File Table CLI Commands CLI Command show logging file clear logging file Description Displays the logging state and the syslog messages stored in the logging file.
