Defining LAG Parameters The Ports - LAG Configuration page contains fields for configuring parameters for configured LAGs. The device supports up to fifteen LAGs per system. For information about Link Aggregated Groups (LAG) and assigning ports to LAGs, see Aggregating Ports. To open the Ports - LAG Configuration page, click Switch → Ports → LAG Configuration in the tree view. Figure 7-23. Ports - LAG Configuration The Ports - LAG Configuration page contains the following fields: • LAG - The LAG number. • LAG Mode - Type of LAG. The possible field values are: - Static - The ports comprise a single logical port for high-speed connections between networking devices. - LACP - Link Aggregate Control Protocol. LACP-enabled LAGs can exchange information with other links in order to update and maintain LAG configurations automatically. • Description (0 - 64 Characters) - Provides a user-defined description of the configured LAG. 304 Configuring Switch Information
