Mapping Domain Host The Host Name Mapping page provides parameters for assigning IP addresses to static host names. On this page, one IP address per host can be assigned. To open the Host Name Mapping page, click System → IP Addressing → Host Name Mapping in the tree view. Figure 6-47. Host Name Mapping The Host Name Mapping page contains the following fields: • Host Name - Contains a Host Name list. Host Names are defined in the Add Host Name Mapping page. Each host provides one IP address. • IP Address (X.X.X.X) - Provides an IP address that is assigned to the specified host name. • Type - The IP address type. The possible field values are: - Dynamic - The IP address is created dynamically. - Static - The IP address is a static IP address. • Remove Host Name - Removes the DNS Host Mapping. - Checked - Removes the DNS host mapping - Unchecked - Maintains the DNS host mapping.
