Defining VLAN Membership Groups Using CLI Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for defining VLAN membership groups as displayed in the VLAN Membership page. Table 7-26. VLAN Membership Group CLI Commands CLI Command vlan database vlan {vlan-range} name string Description Enters the VLAN configuration mode. Creates a VLAN. Adds a name to a VLAN. The following is an example of the CLI commands: console(config)# vlan database console(config-vlan)# vlan 1972 console(config-vlan)# end console(config)# interface vlan 1972 console(config-if)# name Marketing console(config-if)# end Assigning Ports to VLAN Groups Using CLI Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for assigning ports to VLAN groups.
