Battery Problems If your HP NetServer repeatedly loses its configuration or the CPU clock stops, you should replace the battery. WARNING There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly installed. For your safety, never attempt to recharge, disassemble, or burn the old battery. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries safely. To install a battery replacement, refer to the following procedure. 1. Turn off power to the HP NetServer, and unplug the power cord or power cords. Refer to Chapter 2, "Controls, Ports, and Indicators." 2. Remove the front bezel and left side cover (or top cover).
