Chapter 3 Opening and Closing the HP NetServer 3. Press the power switch on the HP NetServer's control panel when prompted by the operating system. Normally, this completes the power down procedure. 4. Disconnect the power cord or cords from the power source. NOTE The power supplies will continue to provide standby current to the NetServer until the power cable is disconnected. 5. At the front of the HP NetServer, extend the anti-tip foot from under the front of the rack. See Chapter 8, "Rack-Mounting the HP NetServer," later in this manual.
